D3 Introduces Micro Particle Jetting Technology at Formnext 2023

Durst Group subsidiary D3-AM GmbH launched its innovative Micro Particle Jetting printing technology advancements for high-performance ceramics manufacturing at Formnext 2023. D3’s LABII printing system allows for direct printing of highly concentrated, water-based suspensions with most particle sizes and distribution. 
 
“Material Jetting, from a theoretical standpoint, represents the most promising technology in additive manufacturing as it enables the construction of objects drop by drop, voxel by voxel. By overcoming material compatibility restrictions, our MPJ-technology paves the way for the production of previously deemed impossible components,” said chief product officer Stefan Waldner.
