CPES2017 Unveils More than 30 Keynotes, Industry Speakers

Conference includes talks by Unilever, CABA, AFELIM, Sun Chemical and NovaCentrix.

The Canadian Printable Electronics Industry Association (CPEIA) has released the speaker lineup for CPES2017, Canada’s premier conference and trade show exhibition for printable, flexible and wearable electronics (PE).
 
With 30+ speakers and more than 200 participants from 120 organizations in attendance, CPES2017 is Canada’s meeting ground for technology developers, industrial companies and end-users to discuss how they can work together to manufacture and commercialize new products and applications.
 
Day 1 of the program features Key Applications, while Day 2 is dedicated to Manufacturing. The optional Day 3 offers master classes, a financing session and mentoring.
 
The conference runs from May 24-26 at Centennial College’s new Conference Centre in Toronto. Early bird registration ends March 3. Please visit the conference website to learn more and to register.

Confirmed keynotes include:
• Christine Di Fabio, global research and development, Print & Connectivity/Intelligent Packaging for Unilever
    Di Fabio will discuss how Unilever is looking to build partnerships across the PE community to boost consumer engagement and enable the circular economy.
 
• Ron Zimmer, president and CEO, Continental Automated Buildings Association
    Zimmer will discuss printable, flexible and wearable electronics’ role to drive many of the applications that allow intelligent homes and connected buildings to achieve new levels of energy efficiency, automation and occupant comfort.
 
• Michel Popovic, president, AFELIM
    Popovic will discuss the strengths and opportunities for France’s PE sector.
 
• Russell J. Schwartz, CTO, Sun Chemical Corporation
    Schwartz will address some of the main trends in printed electronics and provide insight into the electronic materials that will drive future advances in electronics manufacturing.
 
• Stan Farnsworth, chief marketing officer, NovaCentrix
    Farnsworth will discuss state-of-the-art conductive inks along with the use of photonic curing to create high-performance electronics on flexible and low-cost substrates for emerging applications in IoT, wearables and automotive.
