Coveris S.A. announces the acquisition of Supraplast, a shrink sleeve and adhesive label technologies company based in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Supraplast is an industry-recognized leader in printing technology with a broad product offering that includes shrink sleeves, self-adhesive labels, safety seals, PVC and PET shrink films. The company has a diversified portfolio of top-tier customers and serves many value-added end-use markets such as food and beverage, pharmaceutical, personal care and agriculture.

Coveris Holding Corp. and Coveris Flexibles US LLC have entered into a management services agreement with Supraplast. This will afford Coveris an opportunity for expansion and growth in the South American region.

“We are very pleased with the acquisition of Supraplast, our first operation located in South America,” said Gary Masse, Coveris president and CEO.
