Conductive Inkjet Technology (CIT) Ltd announced the launch of a new range of MetalJet XY “print and plate” platforms in partnership with Xennia, the industrial inkjet leader. CIT’s unique patented UV cure inkjet technology offers process simplification, flexibility, materials efficiency and improved yield and will allow radical rethinking of product design and production processes.

For the first time, the new MetalJet range makes CIT technology readily available as part of an integrated package of printer, UV lamp and plating station.

Xennia CEO, Alan Hudd, is excited about the potential for the MetalJet range: “As a founder CIT shareholder, Xennia has long believed that Conductive Inkjet Technology is a breakthrough technology with huge potential in many applications. We are delighted that CIT is now ready for full commercialisation and has chosen to partner with Xennia to offer integrated customer solutions.”

Chris Malley, CEO of CIT, added: “Xennia’s decade of industrial inkjet integration and applications development makes them the ideal partner to help our customers successfully introduce CIT technology. The MetalJet range of XY platforms covers most bases – from R&D evaluation, through pilot scale to full scale production systems. These will sit alongside our MetalJet 6000 roll to roll production printer and mean that we can now offer our customers a suitable CIT platform for most applications.”
