Brewer Science donated to more than 30 entities to support the arts, STEM education, and other organizations.

Brewer Science announced its meaningful contributions over the past year to share the unique and impactful stories among the various entities supported. Brewer Science employees enjoy supporting local non-profits each year to connect the company values to their passions. On an annual basis, employees collect donations for local animal shelters, veterans’ homes, and community needs. This year, employees organized seven different fundrais-ers raising over $6,000, including one fundraiser in the United Kingdom for Grove Cottage, a non-profit that organizes social and educational opportunities for individuals with learning disabilities. “Many people think about giving to people or organizations, but animals have always had a special place in my heart.” said Dr. Lori Calderas, industrial hygienist, “Thanks to the generosity of the kind hearts at Brewer Science, we have delivered at least two Jeep-loads of food, beds, toys, and other needed supplies to the Rolla Animal Shelter each year for the past two years.” Dr. Calderas is just one example of the many employees who enjoy leading company-wide fund-raisers to unite colleagues with a similar passion for making a positive impact in their communities. In addition to the employee-sponsored fundraisers, the company takes a unique approach to corpo-rate giving that allows each employee to be heard and have a voice in the program. Even with 400 employees and 10 international offices, contributions can be made based on one employee’s initiative. It is evident the employees take a lot of ownership in the company, not only because it’s Certified Employee-Owned, but also because of the pride they have in the mission. Brewer Science donat-ed to more than 30 entities to support the arts, STEM education, and other organizations. The company funded a welcome kiosk at the World Bird Sanctuary and the expansion of the Jordan Valley Innovation Center in honor of its 40th anniversary. The company also made non-monetary impacts by donating laptops for children being assisted through CASA (Court Ap-pointed Special Advocates) and residents of the Russell House, donating a microscope to a local school, and shipping 400 pairs of eyeglasses to Uganda to assist missionary and former employee, Jeremy Schmitz.
