As one of the major highlights in printed electronics at drupa, Coatema presents a live demonstration of its innovative and bestselling Smartcoater and introduces its new joint brand Temicoat for pioneering printed nano structures.

Coatema’s Smartcoater is designed especially for research and process upscaling. The Smartcoater system has been introduced with a highly innovative 6-in-1 coating unit. In addition to slot die and rotary screen printing, four other coating units have been integrated, thus enabling highly efficient process development and flexible upscaling in electronic printing and organic photovoltaics.

This bestseller is in live demonstration, equipped with a UV-LED curing system by Hereaus, printing of silver ink and advanced flashlight sintering by Hereaus. The fully working machine will be presented at the Coatema booth B05 in hall 6. Experienced coating and printing experts will be available for any questions and hands-on advice.

In addition, Coatema and Temicon – well-established SMEs based in Germany`s NRW region – are introducing their joint brand Temicoat, making seamless nanoimprint technology and solutions available to display, photovoltaic, biomedical and bionic applications. The provided one-stop-shopsolutions for printed micro- and nanostructures comprise the full production chain, including machines, chemistry, manufacturing and products.
