Clemens Jargon Leads Global Sales at Q-Cells

Will have overall responsibility for sales products and systems, marketing and product management

Clemens Jargon will take over the overall responsibility for sales products and systems, marketing and product management at Q-Cells SE with immediate effect. The 46-year-old manager has profound knowledge of the solar industry and PV markets in Europe, Asia and North America. With his know-how, he will strengthen global sales activities of Q-Cells and further drive international market expansion.

“We are pleased to win Clemens Jargon, who is an outstanding sales expert with experience in the PV sector. He will contribute to the strengthening of our global sales, which is even more important in challenging times of swiftly changing market conditions,” said Nedim Cen, CEO of Q-Cells SE.

In his last engagement as chairman of an international PV company, Jargon was responsible for the markets Europe, Middle East and Africa. While he was general manager of a business unit of a German semiconductor manufacturer, he was responsible for the development and marketing of mobile phone solutions for the global communication market.

In various management positions – amongst others at the mobile phone segment of a big German industrial group – the mechanical engineer moreover gained experience in the fields of sales, product and quality management as well as customer service.
