Ciba Announces Global Price Increases

Ciba will increase prices across its pigment and additive product ranges for coatings applications. Price increases of 5 to 20 percent will be applied immediately or as contracts allow.
    
“In addition to our ongoing efforts to improve efficiency across operations, price increases are necessary to support continued investment in capacity and innovation in our coatings business and to help absorb the significant increases in raw material, energy and transport costs,” said Siegfried Winkelbeiner, global head of business line coatings at Ciba. “We will work with our customers to mitigate the impact as much as possible.”
