Canatu announced that it has maintained a Gold rating in corporate social responsibility by EcoVadis. Canatu scored 97%, placing it in the top 3% for sustainability performance among all companies assessed. The Gold rating is awarded for scoring within the top 5% in the industry and within the top 8% of all evaluated companies world-wide. EcoVadis is among the world’s largest and most trusted providers of business sustainability ratings. The assessment focuses on 21 sustainability criteria that are grouped into four themes: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. “We are pleased to once again achieve the Gold rating from EcoVadis. This rating reflects our focus and progress on improving our environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance,” said Antti Valkola, VP, manufacturing for Canatu.
