Bordeaux Digital Printink and Trend, one of Italy’s largest suppliers of wide-format digital printing solutions, will introduce advanced ink solutions in Pav 9 stand L09 at Viscom Italy, Oct. 3-5, 2013. Bordeaux will demonstrate how print shops can increase their profitability, productivity and value with sustainable solutions in a highly competitive and dynamically changing marketplace. “With proven successes on Roland, Mimaki, Mutoh, HP and other printers, Bordeaux’s wide range of products are internationally known for their high quality results, “ said Matthew Reijnders, Bordeaux’s director of sales and business development. “We are looking forward to introducing our new eco-solvent solutions for Epson printers, Latex-based and dye-sublimation inks to the Italian market alongside our partner, Trend, who emphasize support and training.” New to Italy, Bordeaux will introduce the first complete ink delivery solution for Epson SureColor printers to be demonstrated on a SureColor 30600 printer. The solution includes the Smart Cartridge System, developed in partnership with InkonDemand.com. Printers can replace OEM chips and ink, monitor ink levels and receive alerts when to replace the ink bag in order to maximize print productivity and reduce ink waste. The system operates with the odorless and nickel-free ink, FUZE ECO SC, Mix & Match with original OEM ink without the need for ICC color profiling for all indoor and outdoor environments. “We are excited to introduce Bordeaux’s newest innovation, the Smart Cartridge Solution for Epson printers at Viscom Italy. Trend has sales agents and distributors in all regions in Italy, ready to serve our customers,” said Daniele Filippucci, marketing manager at Trend s.r.l, ”Together with Bordeaux’s high-quality products and Trend’s know-how, innovative logistics system and customer support, Trend has become a leader within the digital printing market.” Other demonstrations include printing on a Mimaki 3042 with Bordeaux’s highly stretchable PLASMA UV ink, designed for applications where flexibility, adhesion, durability and chemical resistance is required. Bordeaux offers rigid, flexible and super-flexible PLASMA UV and PLASMA UV LED inks for all types of applications, offering high quality color and performance as well as long-term outdoor durability. Visitors will also discover Bordeaux’s Latex-based ink, EDEN LX, enabling simple conversion of solvent-based printers to Latex ink and offer superior performance and long lasting image quality comparable to solvent-based ink while retaining the environmental benefits of a water-based ink. Bordeaux’s water-based Dye Sublimation ink, EDEN ST, for transfer and EDEN SD for direct to fabric applications are manufactured from high quality dyes to produce vivid images and excellent image definition. These fast drying inks are formulated to produce washable and color-fast images on polyester fabrics. Also on stand will be Bordeaux’s extensive range of environmentally friendly reduced odor solvent inks and the Mix & Match product line compatible in Roland, Mutoh and Roland printers. Mix & Match inks are 100% OEM compatible and are ideal for printers looking for efficient and easy switchover from the original ink without flushing or spending costly time creating new color profiles.
