BASF to Increase Prices for Neopentylglycol in North America

Neopentylglycol is mainly used as a building block in polyester resins

Effective Oct. 1, 2013 or as contracts allow, BASF is increasing its list and off-list prices in North America for all grades of Neopentylglycol (Neol) by $0.05 per pound.

Neopentylglycol is mainly used as a building block in polyester resins for coatings, unsaturated polyesters, lubricants and plasticizers.
