With effect from July 1, 2013, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase prices in Europe, Africa and Western Asia for resins and additives by 3% to 10%. The price increase is necessary to offset continued high feedstock costs, transportation and energy costs.

The products affected by the price increase are used as raw materials in the coatings, printing and packaging industries.
