Barentz has added Mercedes (Meche) Leon Javier as a new account manager – CASE & Plastics, covering Texas and Louisiana. Javier has worked for more than 20 years in the industrial chemical field in the US as well as Mexico. She has spent many years in senior positions developing and implementing global strategies for oil and lubricant additives for the oil & gas markets, as well as sales positions covering silica, coatings and adhesive resins, reactive sealants, coatings and binders, and methacrylate monomers. “Meche is an outstanding addition to the Barentz organization and brings a wealth of industry knowledge and experience,” Jay McHugh, Barentz’ VP, sales – CASE Southwest, said. “We’re excited for her to join the team and look forward to her contributions.”
