ASSA ABLOY’s New Yale Smart Cameras Win Prestigious Red Dot Award

The two newest products in ASSA ABLOY’s Yale smart home security range, the Smart Indoor Camera and Smart Outdoor Camera, have earned the prestigious Red Dot Award.
 
Yale’s Smart Outdoor Camera stood out to the Red Dot jury for maintaining its imaging angle regardless of removal or reattachment, highlighting the added security provided by the camera’s USB cable management in the home security system.

Additionally, once mounted and aligned with the monitored area, the camera can be effortlessly removed from the mount with one hand for battery charging, which the jury praised.

In the case of the Smart Indoor Camera, the jury commended the camera head’s flexible movement in all directions to ensure a comprehensive field of view. They also appreciated the camera’s discreet appearance and the integrated cable management system that guarantees a neat look for wall mounting.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international, annual competition recognizing excellence in product and industrial design, brand and communication design, and design concepts. Winners receive the renowned Red Dot quality label, acknowledged globally for its recognition of outstanding design and innovation.
