ASSA ABLOY to Acquire SKIDATA

ASSA ABLOY has signed an agreement to acquire SKIDATA, an international leading provider of access management solutions.

SKIDATA was founded in 1977 and is part of the Public Access division of Swiss listed Kudelski Group, and has approximately 1,280 employees. SKIDATA is headquartered in Salzburg, Austria and will be part of the Business Segment Pedestrian within the Entrance Systems Division.
Sales for 2023 amounted to about €305 million (approx. MSEK 3,500).

The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions and is expected to close during the third quarter of 2024.
