Ascent Solar Technologies Announces Results of Annual Meeting of Shareholders

Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc., a developer of state-of-the-art flexible thin-film solar modules, announced the results of its Annual Shareholder Meeting held on June 16, 2010 in Westminster, Colorado. Shareholders elected G. Thomas Marsh, Kim Huntley and Farhad Moghadam to the Board to serve until the 2013 annual meeting of stockholders.

Shareholders approved the amendment and restatement of the company’s 2005 Stock Option Plan and 2008 Restricted Stock Plan. Also approved was the proposal to ratify the Audit Committee’s appointment of Hein & Associates as the company’s independent registered public accounting firm.
