The ArborOakland Group of Royal Oak, Mich. said it installed an Océ VarioPrint i300 and a Horizon 5500 stitcher.
ArborOakland Group acquired two different companies earlier in the year and recently doubled the company’s production square footage when it completed the purchase and build-out of a second building where the new press and stitcher are installed. The installation was completed on August 25, making ArborOakland Group only the second installation of the press in the state of Michigan, per the company.
“Watching the 100 hours it took to install this press, confirms our expectation that this press is going to deliver on the hype more than [undefeated boxer Floyd] Mayweather vs. [UFC champion Conor] McGregor,” said Mike Penkala, manager of Digital Operations at ArborOakland Group.
