Altierre has been selected as an award finalist at the upcoming IoT Solutions World Congress Oct. 3-5, 2017. Altierre, headquartered in San Jose, CA, was honored for its work with Sonic Automotive in transforming the manual, time-consuming paper-based system for updating pricing, inventory and promotion and other details into an automated digital process that operates in real time and with 100% accuracy. Sonic installed Altierre’s eCarTag electronic labels and wireless IoT solution across all 100-plus dealerships. It replaced obsolete paper tags on all its cars with Altierre’s tags to provide updated information instantly for sales associates and consumer alike. “We are delighted that the organizers of the prestigious IoT World Congress are recognizing the powerful omni-channel solution we offer,” said Niclas Qvist, VP of marketing at Altierre. Altierre is a finalist in the Business Transformation Awards category.
