Agfa Showcases Inkjet Advances at PRINTING United Expo

Agfa will showcase its latest inkjet printing solutions at 2023 PRINTING United Expo, Atlanta, GA, Oct. 18-23, including the high-speed Onset X3 HS with robotic automation debuting Agfa’s new Onset 560 white ink, and the efficiency-increasing Flex Roll-to-Roll system on the Tauro H3300 UHS.

Visitors to Agfa’s booth can attend demos of the following printing solutions:
• Onset X3 HS – now featuring white ink

This high-speed flatbed inkjet printer is suited for 24/7 printing operations, printing on various substrates at a speed of up to 15,600 ft²/h. It integrates robotics and other automation features to boost productivity and cost efficiency. This event will debut the Onset running white ink. Agfa’s GREENGUARD Gold certified UV inks for the Onset offer excellent print quality, an extensive color gamut – even hitting challenging spot colors – and lower print costs thanks to Agfa’s patented Thin Ink Layer technology, reducing ink consumption by up to 30% compared to non-Agfa inks.

Both the Onset’s Dual Flex automation setup and the Onset 560 UV ink set have received a 2023 Pinnacle Product Award.

• Tauro H3300 UHS – more flexible than ever
Agfa also brings its fastest hybrid inkjet wide-format printer to PRINTING United Expo, which keeps raising the bar in terms of productivity, quality and versatility. The Tauro H3300 UHS is designed for reliable 24/7 print production of outstanding quality and features multiple automation options. Its capability to print corrugated cardboard in one pass at a speed of up to 9741 ft²/h makes it particularly appealing for packaging needs.

At the PRINTING United Expo, the Tauro H3300 will showcase Agfa’s award-winning Flex Roll-to-Roll system, which boosts printer uptime by enabling seamless transitioning from rolls to boards or sheets without undocking. It accommodates both single- and dual-roll printing and features an integrated camera system for precise double-sided printing, a feature that will also be demonstrated at the booth.

The Flex RTR system has received a 2023 Pinnacle Product Award.

• Anapurna H3200i LED – a versatile engine for short to mid-run jobs

The Anapurna H3200i LED inkjet printer model has proven to meet the diverse needs of mid-volume sign and display companies. This versatile printer for short- to mid-run projects handles both sheets/boards and rolls up to 3.2 m wide, with the option for single- or dual-roll configurations. The white ink function creates possibilities for printing on transparent material for backlit applications or for printing white as a spot color. 

• Asanti v6 – efficiency and consistency

All printers will be driven by Agfa’s Asanti workflow software, a unique all-in-one print production hub that automates the entire print production process, ultimately saving time and money.
