Accredo Packaging has been officially certified as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) by the Southwest Minority Supplier Development Council (SMSDC) and recertified by the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council (HMSDC). This dual recognition affirms the company’s minority ownership and its long-standing commitment to inclusive and responsible business practices.

This recognition is rooted in a story that began nearly four decades ago, when Accredo’s founding family, originally immigrants from Southeast Asia, launched a small manufacturing business in New Orleans. That business, Advance Polybag Inc., grew steadily through hard work, reinvestment, and a commitment to excellence.

In 2009, the family expanded into the flexible packaging sector with the formation of Accredo Packaging in Sugar Land, TX. Today, Accredo remains family-owned and minority-led, with a multi-generational leadership team and a deep focus on sustainability, innovation, and operational agility.
