ABSR Expands Production Capacity with Two Agfa Engines

Based between Toulouse and Bordeaux, ABSR is a key player for print retailers in France. The 12-employee company specializes in large-format printing on flexible and rigid substrates, textile marking and digital cutting by milling and laser engraving.

With the acquisition of the Agfa Jeti Condor RTR5200 and the Jeti Tauro H3300, the company strengthened its large-format printing capabilities, offering its partners a faster, more diversified and higher-performance service.

ABSR, an exclusive partner for resellers of printed products, marks a new stage in its development by adopting the Agfa Jeti Condor RTR5200. This roll-to-roll printer, with its printing capacity of up to 5.2 meters in width and speed of 672 m²/h, represents a strategic asset for meeting the demanding needs of the large-format printing market.

Since its inception in 2003, ABSR has been focusing exclusively on resellers, offering a wide range of printed substrates, from tarpaulins and canvas to vinyl and rigid media. The addition of the Jeti Condor RTR5200 enables ABSR to increase its production volume and guarantee higher processing speeds, a key factor in the competitive large-format printing sector.

With a maximum width of 5.2 meters, the Jeti Condor RTR5200 enables ABSR to handle large-scale orders, ideal for outdoor advertising, billboard and signage applications. The 1200 dpi resolution, with 7 picoliter ink droplets, guarantees optimum image quality even at high speeds, an asset for large-scale production without compromising on the sharpness of detail.

The Agfa Jeti Condor printer offers expanded color options with basic CMYK inks, and additional options such as light cyan, light magenta, light black, white and varnish. This versatility opens the door to extensive creative possibilities. In particular, multi-layer applications and varnish printing make it possible to meet the specific requirements of end customers, whether for backlighting, signage, or interior decoration.

ABSR also purchased the Jeti Tauro H3300. It can produce up to 905 m²/h and offers a maximum width of 3.3 meters and supports extensive color configurations (CMYK, white, varnish). Its configurable automation system enables long production runs to be handled with great stability. Versatile, it prints on both rigid and flexible substrates, guaranteeing uniform solids and precise gray.
