3M named Scott D. Krohn vice president and treasurer, effective May 1. He will report to David W. Meline, senior vice president and chief financial officer.

Krohn joins 3M from Ford Motor Company, where he most recently served as director of debt capital markets funding. Previously, he was director of financial strategy and served as treasurer for Ford in China and Venezuela. Krohn holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton College and an M.B.A. and J.D. from Indiana University.

“Scott’s impressive treasury experience and global perspective qualify him well to lead our treasury organization and help drive value creation across the company,” said Meline. “We’re delighted to have him aboard the 3M team.”

Krohn succeeds Janet L. Yeomans, vice president and treasurer, who has announced her intention to retire on Aug. 1, following a 29-year career. “We thank Jan for her leadership and outstanding contributions to 3M and our finance organization over many years,” Meline said.
