Sartomer Company has promoted Matt Monroe to plant manager of its Grand Junction, CO plant, which manufactures many of the company’s specialty chemicals for elastomers, coatings, inks, adhesives and electronics applications. As plant manager, Mr. Monroe will be responsible for all operations, including production, packaging, shipping/ receiving and maintenance at the ISO 9001:2000-registered plant. Previously, he held various positions of increasing responsibility at Ricon Resins, Inc., which Sartomer acquired in 2000. Mr. Monroe holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Colorado State University.
