Championship Billiards Selects DuPont Artistri System for Products

Championship Billiards has installed the DuPont Artistri digital printing for textiles system at its Lincolnwood, IL, manufacturing site. The company, which prides itself in supplying the billiard industry with the finest billiard fabrics and component parts, has added new capabilities to create and print customized billiard table covers and rails, specialty wool fabrics and casino gaming table covers.
    
“The Artistri system has added exciting new aesthetic possibilities for customized billiard table covers and rails, casino gaming tables and other applications where wool and wool blend fabrics are used,” said Fred Cohen, president of Championship Billiards. “Our focus in adding DuPont Artistri to our product line was to delight our customers by allowing them to decorate their tables with logos and photographs where their design ideas are limited only by their imagination.
    
“The DuPont Artistri system made it possible for Championship Billiards to introduce our ChamPrints line of customized billiard cloth designs,” Mr. Cohen added. “We offer stock panoramic images as well as the reproduction of the customers’ artwork for the billiard table bed and rails. Our products have been featured on programs like ABC’s “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and we have created tops for celebrity homes, sports bar venues and important corporate advertising campaigns.
