BASF increased prices effective Sept. 1 for the following Joncryl products: resin solutions, an average of 2 cents per pound; emulsions, an average of 3 cents per pound; and resins and polyols, an average of 5 cents per pound.

The price adjustments are necessary due to escalating transportation, raw material and energy costs.

Joncryl is BASF’s trademark for a portfolio of styrene acrylic, acrylic and high solids polymers used in the printing and packaging, coatings and functional coatings markets.
