DF Inks, the flexible packaging inks division of DRUCKFARBEN Group, launched its new website, a dedicated digital platform designed for converters, brand owners, and industry professionals.

The new website offers easier access to technical expertise, product information, and sustainability resources. It offers a modern user experience focused entirely on the needs of the flexible packaging industry.

“As packaging requirements continue to evolve, access to reliable information and technical support becomes increasingly important,” said A. G. Karavasilis, Managing Director of DRUCKFARBEN Group. “The new website has been designed as a resource, bringing together product knowledge, sustainability insights and practical tools in one place.”

Built around the DF Inks product portfolio and technical capabilities, the new website provides comprehensive information on:

  • Solvent-based and water-based ink systems
  • PU Ultima and PUX technologies
  • UV Ultracure inks
  • Primers, overprint varnishes, barrier coatings, and heat seal lacquers
  • Industry-specific packaging applications
  • Regulatory and sustainability developments
  • Sustainability
  • Plus a troubleshooting center and an ink consumption calculator

Visitors can also explore the wider DRUCKFARBEN Group ecosystem through links to the Group’s other business divisions, KRAFT Paints and BIOCLIMA, without leaving the site.

Also, a dedicated sustainability section highlights the Group’s approach to developing solutions that support recyclability, circular packaging design, and alignment with evolving European legislation, including the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR).

The newly introduced Troubleshooting Center provides practical guidance on common printing and converting challenges, helping customers optimize performance, improve efficiency, and reduce waste. Topics range from print defects and color consistency to adhesion, blocking, drying behavior, and process optimization.

One of the most innovative features of the new website is the Ink Consumption Calculator, developed specifically for flexographic and rotogravure converters.

The online tool enables users to estimate theoretical ink consumption using key production parameters, including:

  • Transfer rate
  • Anilox or gravure cylinder engraving parameters
  • Ink coverage
  • Ink density
  • Ink-to-solvent ratio
