INX plans to expand its presence in the visual communication, corrugated, and industrial printing markets at the FESPA Global Print Expo

A new digital, water-based ink specifically developed for corrugated packaging applications will be introduced in booth 3-C143 from May 19-22 at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

This represents an important stage of how the product portfolio continues to evolve from production availability to real market adoption.

“Over the past five years, the corrugated market in Europe has experienced steady expansion, driven by several structural trends. The growth of e-commerce has significantly increased demand for corrugated packaging, while brand owners are increasingly looking for more flexibility in terms of design, versioning, and shorter production runs,” explained Stefano Rogora, INX Europe’s Marketing Manager EMEA.

INXJet KECB continues the progress INX made at FESPA last year with the debut of four new generation, high-performance, and regulatory-compliant inkjet inks.

Three of those products, including INXJet E32 Eco-Solvent, I32 UV LED Curable, and T32 UV LED Curable inks, will be featured this year.

KECB was developed to meet corrugated performance and sustainability requirements. Suitable for printing on different kinds of papers and cellulosic-based substrates, it is formulated for use with any printer equipped with Kyocera KJ4B printheads.

KECB also strengthens a product portfolio that supports a trend where converters are exploring solutions that offer greater agility, reduced set-up times, and the ability to manage more complex and variable print jobs.

Rogora added, “At the same time, sustainability has become a central driver. Corrugated packaging is widely recognized as a recyclable and fiber-based solution, making it a preferred choice for many applications as regulations and environmental expectations continue to evolve. These trends are also accelerating the adoption of digital printing technologies within the corrugated segment, and our products are designed to support this transition.”

The T32 UV Curable high-performance inks introduced last year are one of many INXJet products that have earned GREENGUARD Gold Certification.

It confirms that certified products meet strict requirements for indoor air quality, making them suitable for use in sensitive environments such as schools, healthcare facilities, offices, retail, and other public indoor spaces.

“This certification represents the right recognition for products that are already making their mark in the wide format printing industry,” said Marco Zanella, INX Europe’s Global Business Development Director – Inkjet. “It reinforces our commitment to delivering high-performance inkjet solutions that combine print quality, productivity, and verified low-emission performance for indoor applications.”

Also, INX’s UV INXJet premium technologies provide additional flexibility for applications such as short-run production, prototyping, and visual communication on board materials.

These high-quality solutions enable converters to respond quickly to market demands without the constraints of traditional processes.
