Van Son Announces Price Reduction of Vs4 Ink Line, Adds Vs Zero VOC-Free Ink

Van Son Holland Ink Corporation announced it will be lowering the price of its waterless Vs4 ink.

Vs4 ink offers consistency and efficiency to printers and aids in the reduction of waste materials and ink consumption. Due to the strong demand and market acceptance of waterless ink, Van Son has been able to streamline manufacturing and pass the savings along to printers.
    
The attributes of the waterless ink benefit not only a printer and its customers, but the planet as well. By reducing wasted paper materials and the VOCs that are associated with dampening usage, printers contribute to both forest conservation and efficient water conservation.

Van Son has also added Vs Zero, a new vegetable-based ink, to its Vs Series ink line.
    
Vs Zero ink is 100% VOC-free, and contains no petroleum solvents or mineral oils. Van Son’s Vs Zero ink is formulated for straight printing and 4+4 perfecting presses.
    
The introduction of Vs Zero ink is part of Van Son’s strategy to add the option of completely VOC-free printing to the Vs Series ink line. While the ink was developed to answer the demand for environmental responsibility, it also caters to a printer’s quest for quality. Van Son’s Vs Zero ink yields both high print contrast, and high water tolerance. The sustainable ink is characterized by an outstanding gloss, extremely fast setting times, excellent rub resistance and superb dot sharpness.
