Universal Display to Ring Nasdaq Closing Bell

Celebration commemorates 30th anniversary of UDC.

Universal Display Corporation’s Steven V. Abramson, president and CEO, will will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the company’s founding by ringing the Closing Bell at Nasdaq MarketSite today, June 17, 2024. Abramson was joined by members of UDC’s executive management team and Board of Directors.

“On June 17, 1994, Sherwin Seligsohn founded UDC with a vision that OLEDs could revolutionize the display and lighting markets,” Abramson said. “Today, OLEDs are seemingly everywhere — in smartphones and smartwatches, tablets, laptops and monitors, TVs, AR/VR, automotive displays and more.

“Over the past three decades, our brilliant team has continuously innovated, developed and delivered state-of-the-art OLED materials and technologies to support and enable our customers in shaping the OLED industry we know today. Even after 30 years, we are still in an early chapter of our growing story.
