“The Healthcare Revolution will shift from a provider-centric to a personalized care model with success critically dependent upon microelectronics and related technology,” said Gity Samadi, SEMI Smart MedTech initiative lead. “Our newly elected Smart MedTech Governing Council will advise on the initiative’s efforts to provide funding, knowledge, and collaboration opportunities to proactively build an ecosystem that can drive healthcare and medical electronics innovation toward products that serve society faster.”

Newly Formed SMART MedTech Governing Council includes:
• Brewer Science, Inc.
• Deloitte
• Eli Lilly and Co.
• GE HealthCare Technology and Innovation Center
• Merck KGaA.
• Molex
• Rogue Valley Microdevices, Inc.
• SEMI
