At Arizona State University, in Tempe, AZ, USA, is a research program called the Flexible Display Center. The center is working with the US Army to develop new information displays that will deliver high performance. They will be rugged, lightweight, ultrathin and compact, be made in any shape, and utilize low power. The electronics used to create the images on the displays will be printed on.
