Zebra Technologies announced Tami Froese, interim chief supply chain officer, and Kelly Nothaft, VP, global operations and services strategy and transformation, were selected as recipients of the 2022 Women in Supply Chain award by Supply & Demand Chain Executive (SDCE). The Women in Supply Chain award honors female supply chain leaders and executives whose accomplishments and mentorship set a foundation for women in all levels of a company’s supply chain network. The award recognizes all who have helped supply chain clients and the community prepare to meet the industry’s current and future challenges. Froese is the highest-ranking executive in Zebra’s supply chain function and sits on the Executive Leadership team at Zebra. She is a leader with enterprise experiences spanning procurement, cost management and has more than 20 years of extensive cross-functional experience in manufacturing and engineering. Froese joined Zebra in April 2020, during the first peak of the COVID-19 pandemic and led Zebra’s procurement organization to perform at exceptional levels even amid a challenging period of supply chain disruptions. “It is an honor to be included in SDCE’s annual Women in Supply Chain list and be recognized for helping female industry professionals as well as our customers and the community navigate the turbulence of today’s complex supply chain,” said Froese. Nothaft is responsible for transforming the supply chain from a fulfillment engine to a value creator. Nothaft established the Zebra for Zebra program, which showcases impactful technology offerings within internal operations centers and provides real-world performance feedback to product design and engineering teams. This feedback enables a strong loop of operational insights back to product development teams for future product updates and improvements. “We are proud to be recognized by SDCE for our accomplishments, mentorship and creating a foundation for women in the supply chain,” said Nothaft.
