Komori America has established a Printed Electronics Elemental Development Center (PEDEC) in the Tsukuba Plant in Japan to build and develop elemental technologies for printed electronics (PE).

This new plant is the company’s response to the rapid growth of the electronics industry. The PEDEC contains a class 1000 cleanroom, requiring a high level of air cleanliness and basic analytical equipment.

Additionally, Komori plans to use the center as a place to promote open innovation through joint development with partnering companies and organizations.
