CERADROP, a MGI Group company, an advanced digital materials deposition systems manufacturer, announces its new partnership with SEMILAB, supplier of high added value characterization devices for the printed electronics domain. “We are pleased to strengthen our collaboration with SEMILAB, the famous actor in electrical characterization devices provider,” said Dr. Rémi Noguéra, managing director and MGI Group Board Member. “Its high quality products for conductive patterns measurement are integrated on our latest product CeraPrinter F-Serie. Featured as a hybrid modular-based platform the machine permits to combine all necessary technologies offering the user with complete process accomplishment. Starting with high accuracy Inkjet and Aerosol Jet deposition, passing through various curing modules, as well as the characterization facilities from SEMILAB the operator is provided with an opportunity to drive everything easy and fast with a single interface. “Following the market trends and constantly developing our state-of-the-art R&D equipment we are pleased to offer the actors with such a complete solution nowadays, as well as integrate SEMILAB characterization devices on our 24/7 high throughput equipment in the nearest future,” added Dr. Noguéra. “SEMILAB, leader in the optical and electrical characterization solution, is collaborating with CERADROP to propose embedded and in line metrology heads like the first 4PP integrated in the CeraPrinter range to be able to offer a fast and immediate control after the process,” noted Christophe Defranoux, product support manager. “The partnership will be extended in the near future to equip the other R&D platforms but also to the Production equipment, with SEMILAB characterization heads, like non contact sheet resistance by Eddy current or thickness and profile measurement heads like Spectroscopic Ellipsometer. SEMILAB will follow and support Ceradrop in its development to keep our common leadership in the supply of high added value instruments for the printed electronic market.”
