DPD Austria Selects Zebra to Enhance Customer Satisfaction

DPD, Austria’s leading parcel carrier, has automated its parcel shops’ processes to handle the increased workload resulting from the rise of e-commerce. DPD Austria selected Zebra Technologies to insure a smooth transition in its parcel stores and improve customer satisfaction.
 
Since integrating innovative technology from Zebra, DPD has doubled the number of its partner parcel shops throughout Austria. By using Zebra TC55 enterprise-class touch computers and GK420D desktop printers, DPD Austria is can now in real-time track and trace all package movement and wirelessly record and transfer all data to DPD Austria’s main database center.
 
With its intuitive touch screen and integrated scanner, the TC55 offers enterprise-grade functionality which has been easily adopted by store associates.
