Jabil Inc. officially opened its Global Business Center (GBC) in Penang’s GBS@Mayang, after relocating from Bayan Lepas Industrial Park earlier this year. The center marks a milestone for Jabil’s growth, which has continued to expand operations in Penang since 1995. The Jabil GBC started with 200 employees and has since made a home in Penang employing approximately 950 professionals. Today, Jabil’s GBC – combining the company’s global information technology, supply chain management, centralized procurement, and finance global business solutions functions – supports more than 180,000 Jabil employees around the world.
