AerIoT enables real time air quality monitoring for a variety of applications and industries.

AerNos will demonstrate AerIoT, its new nano gas sensor module for monitoring pollutants, detecting hazardous gases and other e-nose applications, at CES 2019. AerIoT can be integrated into third party IoT connected products, including smart appliances, vehicle in-cabin environmental control systems, drones and air purification systems. AerIoT was recently named a CES 2019 Innovation Award Honoree. AerIoT integrates a tiny AerNos 3x3mm multi-gas sensor into a module that delivers industry leading sensitivity (to ppb levels), real-time data, absolute sensing, self-calibration and low power usage. The sensor is housed in a small module that delivers complete processing and results for plug-and-play integration into IoT products. It is designed to be used where hyper-local, granular, minute-by-minute data is needed for alerts, decision-making and automated actions (e.g. turning on air purification). “Our AerIoT multi-gas sensor is enabling breakthrough applications and capabilities for a wide range of products and services. It is poised to help society address two of the biggest threats to human health and safety – air pollution and climate change,” said Sundip R. Doshi, founder and CEO of AerNos. “Until now, gas sensor size and cost have made deployment of dense sensor networks impractical. With this new offering, we are creating new market opportunities for large granular sensor networks and hyper-local gas monitoring that will drive informed decision making.” AerNos is working with a variety of industries to integrate AerIoT into applications that will use the data to monitor and understand gases in the environment and air quality. They include: • Health and Medical – tiny multi-gas sensors integrated into wearables and other smart devices enable people to monitor personal health and provide data to scientists for health research. • Food safety and storage – sensors for smart appliances to detect food spoilage and pesticide residues. • Transportation – networks of sensors to monitor security and air quality in autos, public transit, trains, and airports. • Environmental monitoring – detects indoor and outdoor airborne toxins for always on real-time sensing for public health and safety alerts. • Homeland security and emergency response – sensors deployed as wearables and in fixed and mobile arrays provide personal protection and granular data across large areas, giving new tools to first responders and public officials. • Industrial safety – dense sensor arrays for petrochemical and oil refineries enable site monitoring during normal operations and emergencies.
