Heliatek Strengthens Leadership Team

Heliatek, a German-based organic photovoltaics leader, has strengthened its management team in view of the imminent launch of series production. New on board are Dr. Jan Birnstock and Michael Eberspächer.
 
Dr. Birnstock assumes the position of CTO and is bringing along a wealth of experience in organic electronics and OLED solutions, notably with Novaled. Eberspächer will serve as COO and has a track record in leading lean productions in the solar industry, most recently with SolarWorld Industries.
 
Under the leadership of Guido van Tartwijk and Jan Kiel, who joined the company last year, Heliatek will continue to transform itself into the leading volume manufacturer of sustainable solar solutions.
