Dutch Cargo Terminal Improves Operational Management Over 4G with Zebra Technologies

Zebra Technologies Corporation announced that Combined Cargo Terminals (CCT) B.V., a full-service European seaport and transport hub logistics supplier, selected Zebra XSLATE R12 and L10 rugged tablets, accessories and Zebra OneCare support services to enhance worker productivity, ensure round-the-clock operations and streamline workflows for its container terminal.

CCT has 24/7 facilities for handling, storage, breakdown and onward shipment of containers, breakbulk and general cargo at its Moerdijk terminal between Antwerp and Rotterdam in the Netherlands. 

To optimize its expanding container port and yard operations, the company needed to automate manual paper-based processes with a modern fleet of devices designed to withstand extreme environments and support CCT’s wireless network migration to 4G. 

Zebra Registered ISV Partner Triple-9 B.V. specializes in software and wireless communication applications and recommended Zebra rugged tablets to CCT for their connectivity features and one of the broadest sets of purpose-built accessories in the industry. 

Zebra Reseller Indicium B.V. integrates the web-based container management applications and the Triple-9 Lyfo.NET application onto the tablets and manages the deployment.
