Dr. Terry Brewer, president and founder of Brewer Science, has been named to Ingram’s Magazine’s “50 Missourians You Should Know,” a prestigious list of key executives, volunteers, administrators from non-profits, entrepreneurs and innovators. Dr. Brewer was recognized for his significant contributions to technology and innovation. Brewer Science invents and manufactures materials-based technologies that have made electronic devices smaller, thinner, lighter and more powerful.

The magazine article highlighted that, since founding Brewer Science 32 years ago, Dr. Brewer has grown the company into one of the largest employers and manufacturers in Rolla, MO, with 300 skilled professionals turning out coatings for the semiconductor industry.

“I think there is something special about Missouri; it still has a wide-open-spaces attitude, a frontier attitude,” Dr. Brewer told Ingram’s, which noted this entrepreneurial spirit was a foundation for his company’s success.

“Our commitment to ‘Made-in-Missouri’ products with a ‘Show-Me’ workforce is the reason we have maintained our technology-manufacturing base in Missouri for over 30 years,” said Dr. Brewer.
