Impinj, Inc. announced the appointment of TransTech Systems, an established leader in the ID badging and access control field, as its newest authorized distributor. TransTech brings best-in-class RFID solutions to systems integrators (SIs) and value added resellers (VARs) specializing in the access control, authentication and security vertical markets. TransTech joins an exclusive worldwide network of distributors who have partnered with Impinj to expand their offerings to include Impinj’s award-winning Speedway product portfolio. “We are excited about our new partnership because Impinj’s best-in-class RFID reader products will enhance and complement our existing line card offerings” said Jeff Kruse, general manager of TransTech Systems. “We’ve always been committed to delivering the highest quality, value-based distribution, and the addition of TransTech Systems to our channel ecosystem will enable us to extend our reach to new solution providers with specialized solutions tailored to the access control, authentication and security vertical markets,” said Scott Medford, senior vice president of sales for Impinj.
