Awarepoint Introduces Bluetooth Low Energy for RTLS in Healthcare

New BLE/Wi-Fi RTLS platform enables increasingly mobile healthcare ecosystem

Awarepoint announced the introduction of its Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) RTLS platform. The BLE platform meets the evolving needs of healthcare RTLS while taking advantage of an organization’s existing Wi-Fi network for system management and data transfer. Awarepoint has developed this patent-pending BLE platform to enable a connected and integrated healthcare ecosystem. Built on this new BLE platform, Awarepoint’s mobile location-based services will play an integral part in the Internet of Things (IoT).
