Dr. Alec Reader Joins Peratech as VP of Business Development and Partnerships

Peratech Holdco Ltd. announced the appointment of Dr. Alec Reader as VP of business development and partnerships.  Reader joins Peratech from the UK’s Knowledge Transfer Network Ltd. where, until recently, he was the director and leader of its nanotechnology activities for more than seven years.

“Alec has over 30 years’ experience in the micro and nano-electronics industries with an extensive partner network that we need to both collaborate and accelerate the commercialization of Peratech’s Quantum Tunneling Composite-based solutions,” said Peratech CEO Jon Stark. “His decision to join Peratech is a clear validation of our technology, business model, and growth strategy.”

Having successfully transformed five academic start-ups into mainstream companies including Innos, Dr. Reader has held senior R&D and business leadership positions at ST-Microelectronics, Philips Research, Philips Semiconductors and Philips Analytical.
