REC Announces Production of Five-Millionth Solar Module

REC was present at the 13th SolarExpo, which was held May 9-11, 2012 at the Verona Fair pavilions. During the event REC celebrated the production of the five-millionth REC Peak Energy Series module.

REC has been active in Italy since 2009. The localized REC Partner Program including 25 distribution and project developers in Italy is helping to support industry locally. In addition the REC Solar Professional Program, the new certified installer program available in Italy already includes more than 100 certified installers globally.

“We are happy to confirm again this year in Verona REC’s commitment to developing the Italian market, not only through the performance, competitiveness and reliability of our products, but also through continuous training for installers and targeted information for customers, so that they can make informed and efficient choices,” said Ivano Zanni, managing director of REC Solar Italy. “Our recently launched certification program for solar energy installers will certainly offer the Italian market innovation in terms of reliability and support.”

REC Systems which develops, installs and sells state-of-the-art solar power plants completed in 2011 the installation of more than 50 MW capacity in Italy. They are the seventh largest systems provider in Italy, according to IMS.
