cynora GmbH once again wins a CyberForum award: at the High-Tech Entrepreneur Congress 2012 (Hightech.Unternehmer.Kongress 2012) held in Karlsruhe on Nov. 21, 2012, cynora was presented with the init Innovation Award, a special category of the CyberChampions Awards 2012. cynora had received recognition in the same forum in 2010, winning the Special Award of the State of Baden-Wurttemberg.

The deciding factor for this year’s jury was the pioneering and innovative research in the area of organic electronics. Specifically, cynora was recognized for succeeding with the first-time manufacture of a flexible, structured OLED prototype earlier this year in spring. This innovation marks a major milestone for the company in the development and application of flexible components for organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs).

“We are very proud to have yet again won an award at the CyberChampions Awards,” CEO Dr. Tobias Grab said. “The jury recognized the immense potential of our research and that we have made a decisive leap forward since winning the award two years ago.”

cynora’s prototype paves the way for flexible and ultra-thin displays, transparent and laminar light sources as well as smart packaging.
