Mühlbauer Selected by De La Rue to Provide Passport Personalization Equipment

Will support the production of biometric passports

The Mühlbauer Technology Group, global system and technology provider of ID projects, has been selected by De La Rue Identity Systems for the provision of personalization equipment to support the production of biometric passports as part of specific, ongoing contracts.

De La Rue selected Mühlbauer following a structured competitive tender process. Mühlbauer will be responsible for providing personalization equipment valued at nearly EUR 10 million for producing next generation biometric passports that will meet the highest of international standards for travel documents. Mühlbauer will alsoprovide appropriate systems service and support valued at up to €6 million.
