Applied Nanotech Holdings, Inc. has entered into a strategic agreement with UniJet Co. Ltd, an original equipment manufacturer of industrial scale inkjet printing systems for high volume manufacturing and a global leader in the emerging field of printed electronics.

As part of the commitment, Applied Nanotech (ANI) has installed a UniJet OmniJet 100 Printing System in its facility for use with its ink technologies. The cooperation agreement between the companies includes the introduction of ANI customers to UniJet printers and the supply of the optimized UniJet printers for ANI inks. The companies will cooperate to jointly develop applications in the printed electronics industry.

“Technically speaking, the UniJet systems offer the flexibility of working with printer heads from multiple suppliers,” said Dr. Zvi Yaniv, CEO of Applied Nanotech, Inc. “Since printer heads are designed to offer distinct attributes for different application requirements, this enables users to develop a variety of applications using the same capital equipment.”

“The relationship with UniJet allows us to optimize our ink portfolio on high volume industrial scale equipment,” said Doug Baker, CEO of APNT. “This will facilitate the use of our inks in manufacturing lines by reducing the time and investment required by our customers to bring their products to market. This is an important component of our technical ink printing solution.”
