MFLEX Honors 25-Year Anniversary

Multi-Fineline Electronix, Inc. (MFLEX), a leading global provider of high-quality, technologically advanced flexible printed circuit and value-added component assembly solutions to the electronics industry, announced its 25th-year anniversary celebration.

To commence its 25-year celebration, MFLEX held a community event attended by over 2500 employees, suppliers and customers in Suzhou, China. The event also marked MFLEX’s 15 years in China. Other events are planned for the next few weeks, which will include a celebration at MFLEX headquarters in Anaheim, CA.

Throughout the past 25 years, MFLEX has grown from one small factory to a technology innovation leader with operations in North America, multiple Asian locations and Europe. Currently, the company has begun construction of an additional manufacturing facility in Suzhou. In June 2009, BusinessWeek ranked the company 66 on its Info Tech 100 list.

“This year marks a major milestone for our company, not just our founding 25 years ago but the success we’ve achieved through partnerships with leading electronics companies and the building of a talented global workforce,” said Reza Meshgin, chief executive officer of MFLEX. “We have come a long way from being a small flex manufacturer to becoming a global technology manufacturing company. We expect this to be the beginning of many more years of success and prosperity as we count on the talent, dedication and determination of our colleagues to march forward to a great future.”

Since the company was founded in 1984, MFLEX has become the second largest global manufacturer and assembler of flexible printed circuits. In fiscal 2009, MFLEX had more than 15,000 worldwide employees and reported net sales of $764 million.
