At Kodak, sustainability is not just a goal, it is a core value that drives the company’s innovation and global operations. A clear testimony to this is the new edition of Kodak’s Sustainability Report, titled “One World, One Kodak.” The report provides a comprehensive summary of ongoing sustainability initiatives and achievements across Kodak’s global business activities in 2023 and through Q3 2024.

In addition to an update on Kodak’s sustainability strategy, the new publication highlights the significant milestones that Kodak has achieved on its sustainability journey. These include a 56% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions and a 31% reduction in water withdrawal, both ahead of the company’s 2025 targets.

The 44-page report underlines how Kodak products and technologies are enabling customers in the printing industry to become more sustainable by reducing energy, water and chemical consumption and avoiding waste.

Solutions such as KODAK SONORA Process Free Plates, KODAK PROSPER Presses and Imprinting Systems, as well as water-based KODACHROME and KODAK EKTACOLOR Inks, play a crucial role in helping printers reduce their environmental footprint. The report features various printers from around the world who explain the positive impact of Kodak products on their sustainability efforts.

The 2024 report also contains updated information aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), ensuring that Kodak’s customers, partners and suppliers have access to comprehensive and reliable information about the company’s sustainability performance.

“Our sustainability strategy is rooted in the belief that we can make a positive impact on the world while delivering value to our customers and shareholders,” commented Jim Continenza, executive chairman and CEO, Kodak. “Sustainability is an integral part of our growth strategy and a reflection of our corporate values.”
