Sun Chemical will present its solutions for a variety of wide format applications at FuturePrint 2023 (July 12-15, 2023), in São Paulo, Brazil under the theme of “Experience. Transformation.” “FuturePrint is a key flagship show for the wide format industry,” said Renato Rossi, business manager Latin America – advanced materials, Sun Chemical. “As the largest producer of inks and coatings, we’re delighted to be exhibiting for the first time and we look forward to connecting with customers and showcasing how they can experience transformation. “Sun Chemical operates within a ‘5R’ sustainability framework: Reuse, Reduce, Renew, Recycle, and Redesign. This framework, along with continuous investment into R&D to improve the eco-efficiency and sustainability of our inks, coatings, and adhesives, enables us to support a circular economy and reduce our carbon footprint. During FuturePrint, we’re excited to show how our dig-ital printing expertise, combined with sustainability, has led to transformative products for our cus-tomers and the industry.” Sun Chemical will promote its Streamline range of inkjet inks for wide format printers. Formulated with low-odor chemistry, the Streamline ink series is Greenguard Gold-certified for low indoor emissions. With the increasing popularity of new, industrial, 3.2m-solvent inkjet presses, Sun Chemical offers tailored Streamline ink solutions to support presses with Konica Minolta, Spectra Starfire, and Ep-son i3200 printheads. Optimized for the inkjet droplet specification and the end-user print applica-tion requirements, the latest addition to the range is Sun Chemical’s Streamline SGR, a solvent ink series for presses using Ricoh Gen 5 printheads. SEPAREL for inkjet applications is a hollow fiber membrane, developed by DIC Corporation. These degassing modules prevent gas from passing through a hollow fiber membrane, allowing only liquid to pass through and resulting in minimal pressure loss and a more compact size. The range offers a variety of products suitable for various ink types and applications, including aque-ous, solvent, and UV. Sun Chemical will be promoting its Streamline aqueous ink technology for high-speed, industrial poster printing on presses. Streamline APY, for Kyocera printheads, is a high-color strength series, delivering drying benefits and a significant reduction in ink consumption compared to competitive aqueous inks. The latest addition to the aqueous series is Streamline APR, formulated for Ricoh Gen 5 printheads and offering all of the advantages highlighted with Streamline APY. Sun Chemical will highlight a full range of digital inks for textile decoration across a variety of ap-plications such as sign and display, sportswear, fashion, and home textiles. Products presented will include the newly launched Xennia Amethyst Evo RC reactive ink, an evo-lution of the Xennia Amethyst series which has been specially formulated to enhance production and enable customers to achieve their high-volume targets in the fashion and home textile industry, without compromising quality. Also highlighted will be a range of market-leading sublimation inks, including Opal and ElvaJet Topaz, as well as ElvaJet SR342 –– Sun Chemical´s latest range of sublimation inks –– to address higher viscosity printheads. In addition, Sun Chemical will showcase solutions for pigment and acid inks.
